Yogurt Commercial is a short, comedic 1998 Macintosh game by Ryan Foltz (later associated with Epic Banana) in which you play an actor on the set of a yogurt commercial whose only real ambition is to mess up the take in as many creative ways as possible.
Premise
The Info-Mac description is blunt: you play an actor in a commercial, and you can do a number of things to mess up the commercial. The whole game is built around that single comedic conceit.
Style
Presented from a top-down perspective with cartoonish art, the game leans into its joke premise rather than offering deep mechanics, putting it firmly in the late-1990s Mac freeware-comedy tradition.
Legacy
The title proved popular enough to spawn a follow-up, Yogurt Commercial II, which expands the gag with more detailed gameplay and additional ways to derail the shoot.
